THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE.
The issuance of $8,500,000 of bonds for the rehabilitation, construction, acquisition, renovation, expansion and equipment of school buildings, and the levy and imposition of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds and the costs of any credit agreements.
Texas State law requires the phrase “THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE” to be on every school bond measure ballot, regardless of the overall effect on taxpayers.
